Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Nature GTX Ws mid to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.

The women's model of the HAIX Black Eagle Nature GTX Ws mid is produced on a narrower last to accommodate slender feet. There are no visual or functional differences here.
The women's model is recommended for narrow feet due to the fit.
The Black Eagle Nature GTX Ws mid can be used for hunting. Due to the rather soft sole construction, the shoe does not produce any noise when stepping on, which could scare away the game.

The Black Eagle Nature GTX Ws mid can be cared for quickly and easily. With colourless, grease-free shoe polish for suede and nubuck leather, which does not affect the breathability of the leather or the colour of the shoe, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is cared for.

As a leisure shoe, the Black Eagle Nature GTX Ws mid does not have to be tested according to the DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) standard. This means that the shoe is not subject to certification. It is therefore suitable for orthopaedic insoles. This allows the Black Eagle Nature GTX Ws mid to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Nature GTX Ws mid is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.

Very light and comfortable, could be a bit smaller
These shoes are the lightest outdoor shoes ever, and very comfortable. The only thing is that the smallest size (35) is not as small as 35 usually is. Very satisfied. I highly recommend.
I spent several years looking for boots that would provide comfort with durability and I found them only with Haix. The present wet, stormy weather combined with a tough, wild environment are posing a real and welcomed challenge to these boots which are proving to be everything that is promised of them. I have found them to be comfortable from the first wear and, become more so with each wear. I will definitely buy from Haix again.
