Your questions, our honest answers
The Nepal Pro has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Nepal Pro to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. When it says "Made in Europe" on a HAIX shoe, we assure you that it was made exclusively at our production sites in Mainburg and Mala Subotica, Croatia. Both plants are among the most modern shoe manufacturing facilities in the world.

The Nepal Pro is an all-season model, so it can be worn both in summer and winter. The shoe is breathable and waterproof thanks to the Gore-Tex membrane. With the help of our Climate System, moisture is transported from the inside of the shoe to the ventilation openings. This prevents sweat from accumulating, especially in the warmer months.
The Nepal Pro defies both colder and warmer temperatures.
The Nepal Pro can be cared for quickly and easily. With colourless, grease-free shoe polish, which does not impair the breathability of the leather and does not change the colour of the shoe, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is cared for.
The uncomplicated care of the Nepal Pro ensures long-lasting enjoyment of the shoe's quality.
Thanks to the two-zone lacing of the Nepal Pro, the lacing can be quickly fixed and the shoe can be optimally adjusted to the foot. The lacing is first adjusted and fixed in the instep area and can then be variably adjusted in the shaft area. This combination provides support and stability.
The Nepal Pro can be put on and taken off quickly and easily, so that the focus can be fully on the work.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.
Half UK sizes differ in length by only a few millimetres.
You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Nepal Pro is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.
The DIN EN ISO 20347 standard is an European standard for occupational footwear that has been revised. What was previously known as safety class O2, which is permanently waterproof, will henceforth be classified as safety class O6.
