Certified cut protection level 1
Your Protector Timber meets the cut protection class Level 1. This means your feet are safe from chainsaw cuts at a running speed of up to 20m/s.
Shockproof thanks to Protective steel toe cap
The integrity of your feet is essential. The Protector Timber therefore features a protective cap made of shock-resistant steel. The Protective steel toe cap is anatomically shaped and meets the highest safety requirements.
Extra slip-resistant with VIBRAM
You'll stand securely in the Protector Timber as it smooths your path on rough terrain. The sole of the Protector Timber has an optimal rubber compound and is therefore particularly slip-resistant, stable and stiff. This is the VIBRAM effect incorporated into the sole of the Protector Timber.
Robust and durable thanks to suede leather
Your Protector Timber can withstand stress, wind and weather because its brushed suede is an extremely robust, durable and resistant outer material that can also be cleaned quickly and easily.
Waterproof thanks to GORE-TEX®
Your feet stay dry and you stay healthy because the Protector Timber is permanently waterproof and extremely breathable. This is ensured by the three-layer GORE-TEX® membrane throughout the lining of the Protector Timber.
Optimal hold thanks to 2-zone lacing
The Protector Timber adapts perfectly to your foot in both the instep and the shaft area, so that it offers you optimal support. This is ensured by 2-Zone Lacing, an innovative 2-zone lacing system for foot and upper.
Relieving cushioning with HAIX absorption
You'll experience a comfortable feel in the Protector Timber even when you're out for several hours. Because the integrated cushioning wedge inside cushions your steps. We call this HAIX Absorption: for drive even on long working days.
Precise fit thanks to special lasts
The right shoe for your feet. Thanks to specially designed lasts, your Protector Timber fits perfectly and provides ultimate wearing comfort, the whole day long.
Different insoles are available for Protector Timber to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Protector Timber has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Protector Timber to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
The Protector Timber is equipped with a Vibram sole. This is durable and torsion-resistant and provides stability.
A shoe with a hard-wearing sole that can also be used for rough terrain.
The Protector Timber is equipped with a cut protection. This means that you can safely work with chain saws that have a running speed of 20 m per second.
Focus one hundred percent on your job thanks to complete protection of the Protector Timber.
You can find all the right spare parts for our shoes on our spare parts page.
We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.
Half UK sizes differ in length by only a few millimetres.
You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Protector Timber is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.
HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. When it says "Made in Europe" on a HAIX shoe, we assure you that it was made exclusively at our production sites in Mainburg and Mala Subotica, Croatia. Both plants are among the most modern shoe manufacturing facilities in the world.
By the way: "Made in Europe" is not only a promise of quality for us, but also stands for good working conditions, equal opportunities, sustainability and corporate responsibility.
