good boots but...

the boots are very comfortable and pretty, they don't weigh anything, but they have a very serious problem, at least for me, the skin of the instep near the toe, it wrinkles a lot and rubs on the top of my foot, this causes me very uncomfortable chafing , these wrinkles appeared as soon as I put my boots on and after throwing my knee to the ground a couple of times, I'm a welder and I make all sorts of things and I do a lot of work on the street so I have to bend down all the time, this problem is going to get me to throw them away to the trash, I don't see that another solution can have, it's frustrating because I repeat, they are very comfortable but useful to always stand or sit.

Superior Boots

I have had a number of Haix boots for various work applications over the years. This new pair are superior in construction and are very light weight.
The other main factor of continuing to invest in Hiax boots are that they are virtually indestructible and just don't wear out. A pair of specialist chainsaw boots are still in use 10 years after purchase. I am confident the new pair of ground working boots will also last.

A well made comfortable boot

First impressions of the boot are great, the boots fitted very well but I got the perfect fit blue insole for narrow feet as I like a tight fitting boot, the result is a lightweight boot that feels like I'm wearing hiking boots. I can't evaluate their waterproofness or durability as I've only worn them for a week but comfort and no sweaty socks are most important at the end of the day for me and it's exactly what these boots are. If this boot doesn't develope issues such as wrinkling leather lining or fall apart before 12 months and maintain some level of water resistance , I may have found my perfect boot.
